Build Engineer

Location: Pleasanton, CA, USA

Trapeze Networks is seeking a top-notch engineer to be a member of our software build team. In this position, you will maintain and extend our build environment, build tools, source control system, and bug tracking system. You will also assist software developers and QA in configuring software and providing them with build support. You will drive software releases to be delivered on-time.

Requirements:

Build and Release Engineering expertise
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in CVS source code merging and branching
Knowledge and experience with a bug tracking system
CVS or other SCM tool skills
Ant experience
Java programming familiarity using Eclipse or Jbuilder
2-3 years of working experience

Pluses:

Experience with Perl, HTML, Make, and Unix shell
BSD, Linux system and/or Windows Server administration
Previous experience working with offshore teams
Experience writing installation scripts with InstallAnywhere, or a similar tool
Obfuscation tool experience – preferably ProGuard
